Playing in tourney tonight!!!
I live in Fla. so not much real poker but they have something called Final Table Tour. You play at local bars that consist of 2 table tourneys and you win certificates to enter a big tourney every three months. The winner of the big tourney wins a 10000.00 seat to Vegas. I will start with 15000.00 in chips blinds 100-200 with say 15 tables of people. Top 30 go to final game on Sunday. As far as tight lose play early do you all have any advice? Or any genral advice?

Re: Playing in tourney tonight!!!
Most people advise playing tight at the beginning and just see how to goes from there. Also as this is a sat try reading the following. Link 1 Link 2. It also depends on your own style of play. You did manage to win a seat to this event so you must know how to play a little. Another good read but will take you some time is the An Anthology of 2+2 Wisdom on MTTs
Hope this helps |

Re: Playing in tourney tonight!!!
Welcome to the Forum...
Its kinda hard to give generic general advise, but reading here will help. Just try to get a good feeling of what is going on at the table , and be relaxed and confident. post some hands later and everyone will help you figure out what was good and bad. |
