Default (6.50) Top 2 on monotone board

My thoughts were to play this basically as fast as possible, noting that a flopped flush is pretty unlikely. Looking at it now, villain would likely play a set exactly like this...

PokerStars Tournament, Big Blind is t100 (7 handed) Converter on pregopoker.com

UTG (t3025)
UTG+1 (t900)
MP1 (t1380)
CO (t1355)
Button (t3957)
Hero (t1795)
BB (t1088)

Preflop: Hero is in SB with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
UTG calls t100, <font color="gray">UTG+1 folds</font>, <font color="gray">MP1 folds</font>, <font color="gray">CO folds</font>, <font color="gray">Button folds</font>, Hero calls t50, BB checks

Flop: (t300) 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
<font color="red">Hero bets t300</font>, BB calls t300, <font color="red">UTG raises to t1300</font>, <font color="red">Hero raises to t1695 (All-in)</font>

i'm really confused by the UTG's actions though. he doesn't have AK or AQ most probably so i think we can rule that out. i think its capable of the big stack limping in with a suited connector and K suited or something. so his range is pretty wide.

so what is he raising with? with 55 and 77 he's protecting the hand, and he has you beat. small suited connectors and he's afraid of a 4th spade, you only have 4 outs. what hands can you beat? not much, i can't see someone doing this with an Ace with no kicker unless he's a complete moran (which might actually be the case at $5)

you're getting about 2 to 1. i don't think there is enough hands he's raising with to warrant a call here. and don't forget you are being sandwhiched and who knows about the other guy. bb is gettting good odds to draw to a flush if he hasn't made it already.

do you have any reads on utg?
