What image for pushbotting?
When pushbotting according to ICM, do you want to get called in general, so do you want to look loose or tight?

Re: What image for pushbotting?
I assume you want to look tight for folding equity, but I am not sure if that's more important than doubling up...

Re: What image for pushbotting?
You want to look tight. The name of the game in SNGs is fold equity. You could do very well in SNGs if you never had a showdown until HU.
Unfortunately, if you are playing optimally, your tight image will disappear very quickly once the blinds get high. |

Re: What image for pushbotting?
I'd have a puppy for my picture....I mean, yeah, you want to appear tight.

Re: What image for pushbotting?
most of the pushing profitability comes from picking up pots PF uncontested, rarely do you have a hand that you really want to get called with in a reasonably big pot...most of the time youll look tight enough at first and people will try and pick a spot to throw you off of your pushing, so itll only last so long. just push g00t

In theory with ICM, since you adjust their ranges your image makes no difference as you tighten up your push range in response. But tight means you can have a loose range and therefor steal more often. |
