Default Interview with \"Fossilman\"

Hey all, new to this site and wanted to share something that was a thrill beyond belief!

I write for a baseball website but took a shot in the dark that I could get a poker pro and much to my surprise I was called back last week by -- 2004 World Series of Poker Main Event champion Greg Raymer!

Shortly before Thanksgiving I conducted this telephone Q & A with "Fossilman".

And if you like this piece I will be posting my interview with Sammy Farha soon!

Enjoy!

And then finally, I think Chris actually is an extremely good player. I’ve played cash games with him on several occasions and I can’t recall ever seeing him play a big pot when we’ve played these live cash games of No Limit Hold ‘Em where he played a big pot and he had gotten his money in with the worst hand. So he’s obviously doing something right if he’s always getting in with the best hand.

Greg,

Do you really believe that you are playing optimally if you always get your money in good? Or was this statement:

a) playing to an uninformed audience
b) misqoted
c) a political way of saying that moneymaker is a nit/luckbox
d) other?

Wow, Greg plays Razz on PStars. I play Razz on PStars. I may have destroyed him and not known it. I could be famous!

Is the website Greg is doing videos for known? Always found him to be an excellent commentator on the poker tournaments shown on television. Would be nice to pick his brain re: Razz...
