Default .50/1 LO8 6-max hand

I had just sat down, no player specific reads. The game seems to be playing loose and somewhat aggressive.

Full Tilt Poker
Limit Omaha Ring game
Limit: $0.50/$1
6 players
Converter

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, 2 folds, SB calls, Hero checks.

Flop: A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (4SB, 4 players)
<font color="#cc0000">SB bets</font>, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises</font>, UTG folds, UTG+1 calls, <font color="#cc0000">SB 3-bets</font>, Hero calls, UTG+1 calls.

Turn: 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (6.5BB, 3 players)
<font color="#cc0000">SB bets</font>, Hero folds, UTG+1 calls.

Is my fold correct?

Are we paying off any river, too? Just curious...

Sure looks like a 23 but we have some outs to the high. I probably call the turn and fold the river if we don't fill up or a 2.

I like the fold. Were not closing the action UTG +1 can still pop it. It also doesn't look like we have enough outs to peel and then fold on the end.

Hmm, what kind of range are we putting the SB on to make the call worthwhile?

23xx is a big part of his range. Perhaps has a set? I just don't see him 3-betting flop and then leading turn with just two pair or a draw.

Favorable River Cards include:
2 Aces for full-house
2 Sevens for full-house.
2 Fours for full-house.
4 Deuces for Wheel

In addition, a 3 isn't a terrible card because it counterfeits Villain's 23xx and may result in Hero getting low half of the pot)

If we do continue after the turn, what's the plan for the river if a blank hits? We still have a qualifying low and a weak high. Do we call in hopes of earning one side of the pot?

I think Buzz likes the call here because if he were the SB, there is a large range of hands he might be betting with on this flop. If you are the kind of player (like me) that would pretty much only make the SB's bets with 23xx here, then it seems natural to want to fold as the Hero. The fact that some posters want to fold Hero's hand vindicates what Buzz was saying in the other "low only" post, i.e. betting the flop with a variety of hands is a good strategy.
