Default Nit and Tight are not synonyms

As I recall, Felicia was kind enough to point out that the original meaning of 'NIT' in cardrooms was to characterize people who obsess over the the rules and infractions, and are likely to call for the floor every third hand.

I know there's no stopping the tide, but I think we've got plenty of words for 'tight', without co-opting this one.

Don't forget I reckon both are on at $500,000 a year sponsorship deals. They don't care about donking some chips off contractually.
Stars were willing to pay this years WSOP winner $1,000,000

[/ QUOTE ]

I'd be curious to see what their contracts and salaries actually entail, as well as most other sponsored pros.

Moneymaker is still working for Stars in 2007, but is his image still worth $500,000/year?

[/ QUOTE ]

The image of Stars having WSOP winners is probably what's important to them.
Tables are tightening up on Party by the way.

Tables seem to be tightening up Stars too...are all the fish going to FT? Not that there are not still plenty at *s just seems to be less since last October and that [censored] anti-gambling bill. This year has sucked for me compared to
last year.

Speaking of which, out of the 15 WCOOP satellites I have played, I have had 2 wins and 5 bubbles...five [censored] bubbles...Im not talking 2 or 3 away either...Im talking bubble boy.

I love having AA22ds, having a station call me with 7654 (all one suit), picking up two nut flush draws on the turn plus the nut low, and missing it all, splitting with his straight. ugh. this is why it's so profitable, i guess.

other highlights: guys calling my pfr with T998
