Tell me one site which has a worse software.

If the software wouldn't be that bad, traffic would have been better than Stars or FT.
Who wouldn't have played rakefree with a first class software.

Jay Leno once said in his show, let GM's or Ford's CEO drive around the block in a Honda or Toyota and they will know why they have a deficit.

With this software WSEX can't succeed, either they join a Network or they remodel their software from ground zero.

It's a fact.

Dude, are you high? It's not the software. To explain why, let's go back to 2003 for a second.

2003- Small site Party has [censored] software and 2,000 players. WPT airs and has their host, Mike Sexton, telling all the fish to go to partypoker.com (com ads were allowed then). Site hits 10,000 players in a month and can not handle the traffic.

Multiple crashes daily were the norm (much worse than wsex a year ago), and support was horrible. They still have a horrible support reputation (even though support is now stellar in comparison to their 2003 staff). Despite these issues, the site flourished. Why? The software didn't improve until they had over 50,000 players, yet in 2004, with [censored] software and [censored] support, they had surpassed Stars' numbers.

Party still had kind of crappy software even after they surprassed 50k players.

Others mentioned the MTT buy-in's.
Sorry to rip on WPEX because I really like them and what they are trying to do. But I think it's almost laughable that they have $5 and $10 buy-in's and then when they decide to add higher buy-in's they toss in $100, $300 and $500 MTT's that almost anyone can see is not going to draw many/any participants.

I don't follow it all too much over there but it wouldn't surprise me if almost none of those $500 tourneys ever went off.

They actually do have a $20 level but it's conveniently scheduled at 5:30am.
maybe they have them at other times throughout the week but it looks like it's just this one time per day.
Looks like they also throw in one $25 MTT per week.

It's just weird.
They have a bunch of $2, $5 and $10 buy-in MTT's.
So when people request they had some MTT's at slightly higher stakes it's like they're saying, "Okay then, here's a $100, $300 and $500. Is that high enough for you?"

I don't know if they would have that many people play $20's and $30's and $50's anyway.
But skipping that level and then adding up to $500 MTT's is just ridiculous.

Good afternoon,

We don't take Epassporte because they won't do business with sportsbooks. I read somewhere, maybe here, that Epassporte is allowing certain sites to use them if the same players opt out of their casinos. I will see if we can do the same here.

Tournaments- I see your points about jumping up the limits too fast. We will make adjustments this week.

SNG's- There are too many table sizes. Right now we have 5, 6, 8, and 10 players. We'll make changes.

Regular mail withdrawals are taking a long time right now, around a month. If you are waiting longer than 40 calendar days for a regular mail, please PM me. Something is not right.

Yes, we will be offering bonuses for football. Watch your emails.

Disconnects- We have only received one complaint about disconnects since our last upgrade. The platform is very stable. If you are having any issues, please contact support and let them know.

We will hopefully be implementing an old and tested marketing system this month that should help boost our traffic. You will also see a bump when our football customers return.

We have not gone to contributed yet. It was slated for the late August release but we may push it back one month.

Please keep the comments coming.

I play regularly at your site and like it for the most part. One thing needs to be fixed:

The slider.

At a 2/4 NL game with a starting stack of $400, the slider will naturally go to $12 for a preflop raise.

If I move above $500, it starts to move to $13 naturally. This progresses for what I assume is eternity.

Just because I have more money does not mean I want to raise more.

Keep the slider constant. Thank you.

This is a very welcome development. IMO the two major factors limiting traffic were the lack of commonly used deposit methods, and the lack of fish. (I'm guessing the second statement is some sort of affiliate plan).

I know that I, for one, would deposit if Epassporte was available.

Fred-

[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

also-

is there any chance to get late registration for your tourneys? I just missed one today because the seating started in the instant after I clicked OK, but before it acknowledged it. I would like to be able to register up until the end of the first level of play, or until the first player goes busto.

And is there any way to have the rakeback for cash tables show on the cashier screen as you are accumulating it, instead of only after you leave the table. I didn't get to play much this week so last night I was pushing hard to get my $75 in rakeback. I had 4 tables open, and since none of them got closed before midnight all the rakeback from those tables went to THIS week instead of the week the hands were actually played. I was a bit upset.

Anyone,

I saw the instructions for depositing there via wire.
I've never done anything like this before and I'm a total banking and wiring moron.

Is my bank going to look at me funny if I walk in there and ask for something like this?
Any reason I'm going to get some 3rd degree about "what is this money being sent for?" and stupid stuff like that.

I just hate having to deal with idiot and/or nosy bank-tellers and would like to hear of others' experiences.

If this has been discussed in one of the previous monthly-threads just let me know and I'll try to find it. Thought I would ask here first before searching through a zillion posts trying to find just the one piece of info I'm interested in.

I realize you are considering going to contributed to help the worse players but I think that it might not be the best thing. When people are running bad they are not winning many pots thus a during a bad run my contributed will be much less than my MGR and it will be the same for loose players as well. Giving them this crutch helps people stay in the game during bad runs.

If the actual player base were polled, I believe the GM would find that there's a strong preference to keep the dealt model rather than move to a contributed model.

It would be a shame to see developer resources go to something which won't make the site better.
