another hand where I have 94s - NLCASH
Okay, I hate my 3bet on the flop, but it was quite early in the match and my only read on this particular guy is that he is not insane, but has raised my flop cbets several times, and I feel like a lot of hands I beat may be in his range here.
So, on the flop here, you can see that he has essentially pot bet (it was insta btw after I raised) himself all in other than like $5, and I am getting 2:1 to call. Ignoring my play up to this point, what do you think his range is here? btw my $3 lead on this flop was my standard amount so far, and was getting a lot of folds, but also a few raises. So take that as you will. Re: another hand where I have 94s - NLCASH
p.s. the converter I'm using is weird, I raised it to $3 total preflop, not to 2.50. Not a huge thing, just weird, I gotta find a better converter maybe. I don't post hands much.

I think you have to fold but it is of course playerdependent.

Re: another hand where I have 94s - NLCASH
i think you're ahead of his raising range. i don't think you're ahead of his 4bet range enough to call. don't confuse this three straight board with a board like 789 or kqj. villain is much less likely to call a raise and raise with 2nd pair/third + straight draw on a 234 board. i think a bet/call raise is fine. the board is likely to significantly change and he'll probably check the turn, keeping the pot small for you. oh last thing -- i think on each action, you're only thinking of the next action. if you step back and look at that board before all this goes down and think of what hands he's going to get all his money in with, i think this becomes a pretty clear fold. |
