just bought a used computer, pokerstars wont let me sign up!

it says there has already been an account on this computer! How to I get around this. I emailed them hours ago and still no response. I thought they had good support?!? Can someone tell me step by step how to fix this problem? Thank you so much

A reformat may not necessarily fix the problem. I'd talk to Stars support before that.

Find out how Pokerstars determines a previous registration(registry etc), get rid of that factor and sign up.

I would reformat the computer, you don't know what kind of viruses and keyloggers and other crap could be on it.

That will take care of the problem, just save any programs you want before the reformat.

the guy who formatted my computer when it was brand-new, out of the box played Stars on it and caused me some troubles, but I got it squared away w/like 2 emails.

I highly suggest not putting in any kind of password to anything on a used computer without reformating
