Default 2-7 question

Here's the deal:

I was playing in a really soft 2-7 TD game and got 87632 UTG. I raised it up and got 3 callers. They will probably all chase all the way to the river. I actually considered tossing the 8 and drawing to the 7632. Is this retarded or not?

I think staying pat is fine because with 3 callers I suspect that a lot of your 4's and 5's are taken.

Live or online? If it was live and happened today I totally pwned you in this hand with the nuts, same hand happened this afternoon with my opponent putting in way too much action

There are 28 low cards in the deck 8 or better, if you got 3 callers and each draw 2 cards that means 14 low cards are accounted for - thats 1/2 of the low cards in the deck! This means that STAY PAT!

This was online and not live, unfortunately there are no casinos near me that spread 2-7. Just a good 3/6 game. I agree that the right play is to stay pat here and be happy winning 40% or whatever percentage you win here. Does anyone have an estimate of the percentage this hand will win against three muppets with typical predraw hands?

ive broken this before when playing out of my comfort zone in bigger stakes than i had been used to at the time. Ive regretted it just about everytime. Ive also not broken this lots of times and lost, but its pretty bad thing to break.
