Default (live) £1/£2/£5 ($2/$4/$10)Top set, horrible turn

I am in CO with 66. i limp with around 6 other players. I am sitting on around £400 Villain covers. Villain is a solid tag. Not much more informatin than that.

Flop come 256r. I check and Button bets out £25 3 callers so i raise to £150 and button calls and every one else fold.

Turn comes a 4. I have around £240 left. Hero.....

the reason i check the flop is because I made a dummy check and saw the button reaching for chips. Bascially i was pretty sure he was betting.

Even so, is a flop check that bad??

yes it is...
if button is reaching for chips that means that you have to act first on his bet and just calling really sucks...so you raise and loose a ton of value from all those other guys who call with so much random [censored]

if i saw that BB was going to bed i would rather C/R
