Anything to recommend me?

The only book that i have read was when i started the game and it was doyle's book.
I have now played nl for quite a while and lately i have been playing more tournaments as well.
I have done quite well in them but still think that i should perhaps read a book or two on the subject.
What could you recommend me? Anything worth reading?
Also i have been interested to start playing limit holdem. If i have understood things correctly limit hold em is basically all about mathematics.
This interest me and i would like to learn more.
Any solid books on limit that you would like to share?

The best book for you is Small Stakes Hold 'em, without a doubt. From there you have a lot of good options as far as books, DVDs, and instruction sites, but SSHE is the place to start.

Well if you're talking about no-limit hold 'em, Dan Harrington's books are the place to start for tournaments.

If you're talking limit hold 'em tournaments, eh, I'd still probably have you start with SSHE. Afterwards you would need to beef up on tournament-specific concepts somewhat, but you know, one thing at a time.

For tournaments, read Harrington Vol 1 and 2. Also, read Poker Tournament Formula for the information on the speed of different tournaments and their skill level, and also how to steal a few more chips by leveraging position and a big stack more.

For limit, reading SSHE first is wrong. First you should read Internet Texas Holdem for a basic strategy that works better against all levels of competition for full ring games. After that, and as you're better able to size up the competition and how loose and skilled they are, if you are playing in real loose games (such as live) then read SSHE - it's a great book but only if you pay attention to the table conditions it addresses.

For shorthanded limit, there is Winning in Tough Holdem Games, and the latest shorthanded book that Tannenbaum consulted on.

Internet Texas Hold 'em is okay, and a good enough starting point, but SSHE is a better book imo and doesn't really need a prerequisite. There are other basic books that I like such as Hold 'em Poker, Getting Started in Hold'em, Low Limit Hold'em too. All good books, but inexperienced players can start with SSHE just fine. A common critique of SSHE is that the game conditions are a inaccurate, and I agree with that. Even so, it tackles the fundamentals better than the other books.

Anyway, I wouldn't go anywhere near WITHG for a while, there's so many things in between. There are several other books and some very good DVD sets out as well.

I'm getting the same way about books like LGB for NLHE and West's 7Stud book.

I should point out that i only play tables with max 6 persons.
Winning in tough hold em games is the book for me then?
Harringtons book are the best when it comes to tournaments?

I don't understand what you mean when you say you're "getting the same way."

Are LGB & the Stud book like SSH, in that you can go straight to it, or are they like WITHG in that there are books you should read first?

Actually, I don't think WITHG is best for you to start. I've read all of it, and only started this book

But I think the book I linked to would be better to start. Having said that, the book kind of assumes you know how to play full tables first. Probably not exactly a prerequisite though.
