Default 25NL - KK preflop, can I really get away from it?!

Only a few hands in on the table, no real reads...

can I possibly lay KK down preflop here? BB's re-raise does scream aces doesn't it!

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (6 handed) Poker Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

SB ($27.35)
BB ($21.10)
Hero ($28.30)
MP ($25.50)
CO ($66.25)
Button ($10.75)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
<font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $1.5</font>, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises to $2.75</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">BB raises to $6.75</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero...???

oh, and as for my rather large 6xBB raise preflop, the table was pretty loose and a few players were calling preflop bets with ATC.

you give yourself the reason why to call here.

btw: (I dont have the picture here)
But never fold KK preflop!!!!!!

And since you raised (the red Hero indicates it ), you played the hand perfectly fine.

Notice I said "calling" preflop bets with any two cards, very passive indeed. But in this instance, it was raising!

Hmmm....

True true, with it being 25NL and the shallow stacks, I guess so!

After much deliberation I of course raised all in, to be called by AKs on the button and AA in the BB.

I never ever fold KK preflop, if I happen to be unlucky enough to run into pocket aces so be it.
