The problems card rooms face when they limit the number of nlhe tables is that if there are other casinos within 2 hours drive, they risk losing business from poker players who don't want to wait several hours to play. This would seem to be a bigger problem for rooms with less than 30 tables. Card rooms could try offering promotional rakes for limit non-holdem games if they want to try and diversify the fish. The fundamental question is how many players of nlhe in cardrooms are action junkies that just want to say allin. These players probably wont be kept interested by anything other than nlhe or maybe spread limit.
