Preflop, I should have folded. I wouldve avoided the situation entirely. But since I did not, and am now in the situation, perhaps you can help.

I liked the pot-size bet on the flop and if I had been shoved, I think I would have, most likely, called it.

On the turn however I feel like I would have been better off checking behind and seeing a free river. (I decided this when I went back and looked over the hand) This would have been better, I think, because if my opponent was willing to C/C a pot-sized bet on the flop, he would likely call my all-in on the turn because his check (even if it does mean weakness) does not mean he is folding. Also, I am given a chance to fold if I miss on the river and decide that my pair of 7s are no good. Lastly, I may be able to extract further value if i spike a 7 or an 8 on the river (less likely to win another large bet on the end if a spade falls, I'd imagine).

I'd like to think that I would come back and look at this hand regardless of whether or not I had lost it, but I'm not entirely sure if I would have. I DO know, however, that I felt uneasy about the turn shove but felt as though that's what I was "supposed" to do. Is it?

I don't really like the pot size bet on the flop here. I would usually look to check raise on the flop, but I also like leading here for either 1/2 or 3/4 the pot. I think betting pot is too much and makes your hand look like a draw or middle pair. After betting the pot and getting cold called here I would def check the turn. Since the villain check called a pot size bet this makes me think that he has a hand like J10 or Q10. You also have to remember that this is a $4/180 man, so if the villain is willing to call that much on the flop he's probably not folding. However, the way you played, I think, would be ideal with a hand like JJ-AA

i think either option is viable. i have no problem w the play bc the ai is big enough to have fe . checking behind is fine too. you are repping an overpair. does he believe it? or is he trapping? you still have outs if called,

Preflop with these stack-sizes is a easy fold.

Flop with middle pair and an flush-draw has to be bet.

On the turn you have to get it in.

So apart from preflop hand was fine imo.

Fold preflop, particularly in a $4 MTT.

You flopped a pair and flush draw. You are not going anywhere. I would just push the flop. Atleast bet close to pot.

Push on turn is correct.

Raise preflop is too big. 250 to 300 would be fine. Rest of the hand looks fine.

250-300 is not a legal raise.

Fold PF - this sort of move is not +ev in a 4/180..that is unless the circumstances are so rare that you are running over the table w/ no resistance or the table is extremely loose passive and you think you can limp in cheap

Bet Close to Pot on Flop - Your goal here is to get your chips in the middle..a large bet works for me

Turn - I don't mind the push..villain has shown that he is probably committed to this pot after putting half his stack in already..pushing makes it easier than checking and having to face his river push
