Default Give me a 4bet size please

In this hand assume that I've already decided to 4bet but I'm wondering how much to make it. The villain and I have a lot of history, I play 18/15 with an ATSB of about 28%. Villain is very aggressive preflop and has repopped me numerous times during this session. I've folded to all his 3bets previous to this one. I have no information on his 5bet shoving range but I think it's safe to assume that if you make it >$80 you are committed to calling a shove.

The pot = $44 + $23 more to call = $67

I believe you will make your point if you raise it 2/3 to 3/4
and can get away if he shoves.

I would throw $65 in (reraising another $35)He will put us on solid cards and discontinue pursuit unless he is holding premium holdings as well.

This is based on what I believe villian would think me capable of and since you have folded to his repops but am standing up now, he would have to give U credit. No need to shove to find out what he holds.

I dont get your logic here.
imo the wider villains range the less money we need to risk to take it down

as for the hand i'd raise to $80 and fold to a shove.

60-80 (I default to 2.5x so 75 in this case); fold to shove
I don't 4 bet big ever because if I do it with a nonpremium hand I have the option of folding to a shove and don't price myself in and if I have a hand I sometimes induce shoves by people who think they have FE.

You should have an emergency plan on the off chance that you get called which happens every now and then.

with 100BB i almost always either 4bet small (2.5x or something) or just shove. here if we raise to $75 we are pretty much priced in with our hand which has 30% equity against his shoving range.

if we had T7s here or something i would 4bet small/fold, but our hand has too much equity to do that with these stack sizes, so i prefer a shove.

i mention the squeeze not because villain has wider range, but because there is more money in the pot when we 4bet in a squeeze situation, there is the dead money in between + the bigger than normal 3bet.

we could raise to $65 like someone suggested above, but i tend not to pretty much min 4bet, i prefer to make it slightly more meaty, so villains are less tempted to 5bet shove light on us, but we raise small enough to get away from the hand if shoved on

Fold to a shove? I'm nowhere near pokerstove right now but after putting in almost half our stack we surely are commited to call a shove vs. a reasonable range. He might even look us up lighter if he is aware of the fact that we are sick of his 3-bets.

If he shoves QQ+, AKs, AK then $80 is pretty much bang on the amount where it doesn't matter if we call or fold to his shove.

i think that $75+ is a mandatory call even if his range is QQ+, AKs, AKo. so $80 should be even easier. also his range may be bigger than that
