What multiple positions can Scalabrine play? Right bench left bench and middle bench? He did hit a few 3's against Detroit a few years ago in OT though, so he must be good. BTW, I pronounce it "scalabreeny" anyone with me?

[/ QUOTE ] Call me crazy, but I don't hate the deal - if SVG wasn't going to play Ariza, Mo Evans possibly represents an upgrade at SG, and Cook may or may not be a useful 3rd big. Yeah, Ariza has potential, but Ariza has had potential for 4 years, and aside from dunking, hard, on people from time to time, he hasn't done much.

I agree with Hollinger's take on it. Magic think they can make a run at it right now so they're giving them one pure shooter, and another guy who's a downgrade production-wise, but can still do some of things Ariza did while shoot the 3 at a much better clip.
Disagree with you about Trevor. He played very well last season. Even if he doesn't improve, which he should, he's already a solid 20 mpg guy. He's better than Mo. I just don't think the Magic like that he isn't a shooter. None of that makes up for making Rashard a max guy. But all seems well now in ORL, so not much to complain about if you're a magic fan.
