People come on here and attack hellmuth and farha and negreanu if they make bad plays. He chose to be on the show. Therefore, people can attack his play. No one is saying he is a bad player, but there is no need to defend someone who mucks a pair in that spot. The players with 4-4 didn't muck.

except it wasnt a bad play, it wasnt even during the hand, it was a showdown. was a mistake, and id say it was a mistake and not a bad play if anyone else done it either...it happens. but oh well.

I will admit that mucking a hand before seeing a better hand tabled is a noobish mistake. I feel sorry for him having that broadcasted on TV

He is still a great player, but that fold is still a classic. If Jamie Gold did that on his first episode of HSP how do you think people would have reacted on this board?
