To be honest, I was just curious how there can be so much discussion about PokerStars hats when this seems, well a little more significant in the light of the sillysal stuff. I mean is multi-accounting a big deal only for some people? Why does FT allow Antonius to do it?

PA makes more money for FT than you do, so he get's a vacation on the company plane and you don't. It's kind of how real life works too.

I think OP makes a fair point, despite all the flaming.

TOS are there for EVERYONE. If you are going to bend them to suit then how can you persecute another person for doing the same. Regardless of how important someone is rules are there for everyone. FT have set a bad example by allowing the Pro's to MA IMO and are then shutting accounts and seizing funds of other players who do this. Hypocritical as far as I am concerned.

That's exactly it...not to mention, he is NOT sponsored by FT and he does not make them very much money at all. Yes, he plays high stakes and so there is more high stakes action and more railbirds watching, but he rakes far less than a usual grinder. But why do I respond to that when it has nothing to do with the issue. It is a double standard that should only be allowed if they weren't throwing the iron fist at some people for it.

I'm pretty sure Antonius shot them an email and said that he'd like to change his name. Since his business is very important to FT they oblige him. He hasn't broken any rules because they have made an exception for him.

They have not seized the funds of ANYONE just for using multiple accounts(except possibly in cases of bonus abuse).

Who cares? It's just like high rollers getting special treatment in casinos.
