Re: 2/4 in BB AQ facing a raise, deep!
IMO:
anything less than an Ace would've folded on the turn, so you're up against *at least* a good ace. AQ or AK. maybe 88 or 55. Too many hands that beat you, only one split. I'd fold. |

Re: 2/4 in BB AQ facing a raise, deep!
I hate donk betting this flop, as played, AHHH clubs missed, board is paired, I just cant analyze the hand without more history. Do you donk alot in RR pots, how does he respond? could he believe you had clubs / SF type draw that missed?

As for the hand, this spot seems super read dependant. He's obviously never value betting worse, so all you can beat is a missed draw, and in order to call this I'd need to have some sort of read that he calls 3 bets light in position. Without reads I probably puke and fold. |

Re: 2/4 in BB AQ facing a raise, deep!
does anyone like a flatcall preflop? should i make a bigger bet on the flop?, check turn? bet river, etc?
I really hate reraising out of position and just prefer pot control when its 200bb deep. In the past i tried being more aggressive oop with these sorts of hands as it seems to be the 2+2 standard line, but i just feel like i get better results going for decption and pot control, etc. Only read i have is that he has the aggression factor that makes me think a bluff would be reasonable, but not the call on the turn to get there. How terrible is just a preflop flat call? |

Re: 2/4 in BB AQ facing a raise, deep!
I expected more of the longtimers to say fold the river and newer players to say call. As it turned out the mob in general says fold but the 2 veterans say call. I expected more consensus on this. A few more posts/votes please? or any explanation why mob voted for a fold and experience voted for a call?
