Default but.. but.. the dead money!!

1/2 nl

utg is a bad-tag - very bad postflop, though he has reasonable pf standards. I have never seen him make an idiotic preflop raise like this.

co is a moron and will stop at nothing to see a flop.

UTG: $deep
CO: $deep
Hero: $130 (shortstacked, now stfu)

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is SB with 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
2 folds, UTG raises to $38, CO calls, Button folds, Hero raises all-in $123

question is:

how often did utg misclick vs how often he has the nuts? is my hand strong enough to push?

i don't think this can be +EV. i don't rely on someone who's crazy enough to make it 38 preflop (can that be a mistype? he made it 38, i don't see how) to fold. and co flat called the raise (haha), so who knows how often he folds.

and with 66, you're either racing or crushed most of the time. i'm mucking this pretty quickly.

How can there be two folds and then a UTG raise?

I muck this.

Perhaps UTG was reacting to CO's extremely loose PF calling.

I doubt both of them will fold now.

Even if it is a misclick: how often will he call out of desparation? You have 50% at best, and <<<50% for his whole PF range, i guess.
But when you assume he misclicked: is CO really that moronic?

I fold in lightspeed.

Sure, but original PFR will likely flip w any decent A here.

Anyway it's pretty high variance stuff I don't do at this point in my pokering.

Reads are SOOOO important here, from op it seems like you had been sitting a while. If you have the sac and can put him on some reasonable range then you're gold.
