Final Table of a 24+2, KQs and short
Just wondering if this should have been a push last night.
KQs OTB UTG raises 3x to 75k (Around 20% of his stack), Folds to me and I have ~100k. Pot before the raise was 60k. Villian is 16.7 VPIP and 10 PFR on 120 hands. Just to clarify, I think I'm probably dominated here at best by AK, and the rest of the time villian probably has 99+. I'm happy with a flippament, but a lot of the time villian is gonna have me crushed or a 70/30. If it's a 70/30, I'm not quite getting the odds here, BUT I'm so short. |

Re: Final Table of a 24+2, KQs and short
Remaining stack sizes would help define this decision, but given your stack (which appears to be effectively 4-5 BB?), I think I push and not think twice.

Re: Final Table of a 24+2, KQs and short
Table had been pretty tight, I doubt anyone behind me is calling. Just about everyone at the table had 300k, except for two people that had folded who had 800k or so.
Blinds were 24k/12k, if that's not clear. Hero has 4BBs. |

Re: Final Table of a 24+2, KQs and short
not easy - against the range you give him (99+,AQ+) you are 70:30.
i think i'd wait - KQ is so often dominated against an UTG raise. when you are OTB with 4BB you have some more hands left to push, and i'd rather push ATC than call with KQ an UTG raise. |
