...not so. Jump in a freeroll MTT. They run several a day. I think the winner gets something like $12.50. I don't know what ITM pays but its has to be at least a penny.

For all I know there could be small villages in Albania which subsist on the revenue generated by WPX freerolls.

So is it still a rock garden over at WPEX or have the games loosened up a bit?

I can't install this program, every time I try it gets like 10 percent of the way through "unpacking" the files or something and never does anything else.

I wasn't aware that it ever was a rock garden.

The games there kinda reminded me of some local guys I would play live with. Things start out tight and then somebody takes a beat. They get angry, start pushing and others start looking them up. More beats happen, emotions continue to rise and madness ensues.

All of Tuff Fish's complaining about there being nothing but nitty grinders at WPX is nonsense. Some of the most consistently crazy-aggro games I have ever seen have taken place on that site.

So someone give me some good updates here..

Why hasn't WSEX taken off? I would love to play there if they could emulate stars/tilt and put 75% rakeback instead. I never wanted 100% rakeback because I knew the site couldn't really handle it. Also, I remember them stating they didn't even want high volume since they couldn't make any money anyways.

So now that they want high volume, what are they going to do? With a good marketing program and some loyal followers and 75% rakeback, this place should be rocking.

Well, they have to get the words out there right, WPEX never email their players about the promotion, and posting here is not going to spread the word out.

Amen. It can be a nuthouse. The roster of hard core regulars seems to be a couple of dozen at the most. These people have played tens of thousands of hands against each other so there's a lot more psychology going on than you'll see at other sites.

The battle between the 14/12/3 TAGs and the 25/14/2 LAGs can get highly personal and you need to figure out who, when and where to make your adjustments.

There's a lot more fluidity as well. There are players who may play 3/6 and 30/60 in the same day depending on lineup or other motivations.

Some months ago someone in the mid-limit forum described WPX as a knife fight. Be prepared to get cut. The rock garden doesn't exist.
