$10 - Awkward AK on Final Table
I do pretty well getting near the end, but my final table play seems the weakest right now. Tips on how to play this hand? I was planning on check-raising the flop, but froze on the scary turn. What do I do if anybody bets?

Re: $10 - Awkward AK on Final Table
Our Plucky Hero needs to be better out this beautiful flop. As scary as the pf min-reraise is, we should be betting this about 4500-5500. Can't let two player see a card on a flop like this.

just push pre over his raise...don't use plucky as an adjective

Re: $10 - Awkward AK on Final Table
What do you make of the strange minireraise at two players? I guess that froze plucky hero on all streets. I would probably push preflop and bet TPTK at some point.

Re: $10 - Awkward AK on Final Table
hero is OOP with a very strong hand that plays well getting all in PF so i strongly advocate coming over the top PF and looking to get it in there.
Also, i see this microRR stuff a lot and for awhile was convinced its always a monster but over the last 3 months this has turned out to be midPP and worse As a TON so that shoving is very profitable in this spot. |

Pre-Flop This is probably a push.
Flop- Lead/Push this every time. |

Calling the min-raise is trash, please don't do that unless you know it's going to be heads up.

Re: $10 - Awkward AK on Final Table
Thank you everybody for your comments so far. I'm still adjusting to final table play, and sometimes I feel I'm being too brazen with my betting, so I err on other extremes to compensate.

Re: $10 - Awkward AK on Final Table
You really have to lead out on this flop to see where you stand. You're OOP Multiway with TPTK against a draw heavy board. You can't expect a continuation bet from a LP raiser. You're tyring to play too tricky when it's not necessary, and in fact, could burn you. Bet your hand, at least 2/3'rd POT.
