He outran the cops for a good 10 minutes while completly wasted, his downfall was running into the dorm because the cops immediatly put the place on lockdown and guarded all the exits. 2. He claims to not remember anything except running. But if he has any sense at all he'll realize that leaving him in the drunk tank to detox was the best thing for him. If I were in his position I wouldn't expect to be picked up still wasted either, but then again I've never been in that situation so who knows. 3. I'm still shocked by this too. From what I was told, because the cops were not harmed at all during the whole ordeal (aparently if any one of them had a single scratch on them he would still be in jail) they could only keep him for 4 hours. I agree though, I'm baffled by this.

[/ QUOTE ] Also, when I was speaking with one of the cops afterward, he said that if he hadn't ran into the dorm, they were going to let the K-9 loose on him. He definatly wasn't outrunning the dog.
