Default Price him out? Coaching advice.

Was helping someone who is trying to learn 2-4 6 Max.

*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to <font color="red"> Hero </font> [Qs Qd]
<font color="red"> Hero </font> raises 3bb
<font color="green"> Villian </font> minraises
<font color="red"> Hero </font> calls
(14bb)
*** FLOP *** [7d 2s 5h]
<font color="green"> Villian </font> makes tiny bet, size of original reraise.
<font color="red"> Hero </font> raises to the pot
<font color="green"> Villian </font> calls
*** TURN *** [7d 2s 5h] [Th]
<font color="green"> Villian </font> checks
<font color="red"> Hero </font> bets 3/4 pot
<font color="green"> Villian </font> calls

*** RIVER *** [7d 2s 5h Th] [Js]
<font color="green"> Villian </font> checks
<font color="red"> Hero </font> goes all in for 1/5 the pot
<font color="green"> Villian </font> calls
*** SHOW DOWN ***
<font color="red"> Hero </font> shows [Qs Qd] (a pair of Queens)
<font color="green"> Villian </font> shows [Jc 7c] (two pair, Jacks and Sevens)

I was trying to explain to him that he should've reraised the minraise before the flop to get value out of ace-big hands, medium pairs (jacks/tens), also to see if he is against a big hand (pocket kings/aces). Instead, he let Villian hit a flop, and underbet pot entire way, with his opponent drawing on almost anything, maybe even 6-4h, any combination.

His rationale was that opponent "reraises and then someone calls he Cbets probably 100% of the time."

I also tried to take into consideration hands like KJ, where he will get literally no action on the flop if his opponent doesn't hit. As it is, this entire hand made me cry.

Suggestions? Agree with his thoughts? (No, you can't have his sn, but if you agree with him, pm me your sn)

You are coaching someone and you need help explaining this hand to someone? Is this some sort of joke?

Note to forum: I am sorry for turning into the [censored] who calls everyone an idiot. I did this a ton in Mid-High Short-Handed Limit back in the day. It's just what I degenerate into after so many retarded posts. That said, I find it effective.

Not coaching, giving him advice. Turns out he raised to bet the pot on the flop. Villian's stats are 60 VPIP 40 PRF.

Tell him he really to repop this preflop for so many reasons. It becomes pointless to comment after that when something so fundamental was screwed up.

Unless he has been minreraising a lot, I'm not thrilled about 4 betting QQ. As played his line is fine but he needs to just shove the turn, not that it really matters much.

Speaking of screwing up something fundamental, how about the fundamental theory of poker? Is he going to call a 4 bet with under-cards? If so, then 4 bet. If you make him play correctly by forcing his garbage out preflop, then 4 betting QQ isn't the right play. I'd rather stack this guy when he flops TPNK than pick up 5bb preflop.
