I've watched enough Raptors games and seen enough of Juan Dixon to know that he was the primary reason that team went from laughingstock without him to playoff team with him. The man call ball. Period. And it doesn't always show up on the stat sheet, as he probably does more "little things" than anyone in the history of the league.

... I'm at a loss for words in the face of you on Dixon's c***. You say they were a laughing stock before his arrival? WHAT? He arrived right around the ASG... the Raptors were a playoff team before the ASG so they were clearly not a laughing stock.
He does more little things than anyone in the history of the L? Ludicrous. I can name 10 better rotation players CURRENTLY in the L than him (Battier, Posey, Watson, Barbosa, Fisher, Blake, even Boykins).
I'm really curious as to your love of Dixon. Are you related to him or something.

Assani has done the Dixon trolling for years. It was never funny, but for the most part, people ignored it. Stop giving him the WTF responses he wants.

The problem with Assani jokes is that his actual views on sports are so often absurdly awful that something like Dixon as a top 10 player fits perfectly with his persona.

I see it differently, his views are normally so spot-on and terrific that his insistence on trolling threads w/ a million dixon comments leave me perplexed.

he's a better basketball poster than 98% of this forum. He knows his stuff.

The Dixon joke is great because every time we all think it's getting old, someone comes along and flips out about it.

hmm.. not really. Gilbert too high, Melo too high, Boozer too lower, O'Neal too high, Vince too high..

[/ QUOTE ]

Gilbert and Melo too high? where would you put them? And like someone else said, Boozer needs to keep this type of production up for more then 1 year to get a higher ranking from me. Having him higher means someone like Baron Davis should have a higher ranking as well.

Vince is def. not too high, guy put up 25/6/5 last year with limited turnovers.

Shaq is debatable.

Yeah, I admittedly hate Vince and am too harsh on him. Low twenties seems about right.

Re: Boozer, fair enough. I expect many good years from him playing in Utah. Part of his lower numbers had to do with playing for a team who's only gameplan was to let LeBron dribble a lot and occasionally get Z the ball in the post. He thrives in the pick and roll, and I'm very impressed with how good he is around the basket.

Re: Melo. Melo is a mid twenties guy. Just from your list, I'd take a bunch of guys behind him ahead of him: Vince, Redd, Deng, Gasol, Deron, Marion, JJ. I don't care how many points he scores. Stop shooting 3s, grab some boards, and stop giving the ball away.

As long as you're talking about over/under on number of wins a team would get if he was the franchise player.

Take Kidd off the Nets and they don't win 30 games.
