Re: *****Clash of the Titans: NWE @ DAL (Week 6)*****
After yesterdays Kentucky-LSU game I watched the local news. One of their lead stories was "we've received a number of complaints as to why we are showing the Cardinals-Panthers game instead of the Patriots-Cowboys game", and then proceeded to outline NFL policy on being forced to show local games. LOL, it was like they were saying "look, we don't want to show this crappy game either, but we have no choice".

Re: *****Clash of the Titans: NWE @ DAL (Week 6)*****
A couple weeks back I posted that I was not sold on the Pats just yet because they had not played any real team yet and Dallas had been putting up better offensive numbers against better defenses. I am grudgingly sold. Who can beat this team besides Indy? Steelers I guess. Miami always gives them problems I would love to see that upset. Barring injury this is probably the super bowl matchup I wonder how Dallas will do in February.

Getting back Henry would help a lot (Reeves is basically useless,) as would getting back Glenn on O, but it's hard to expect to be more healthy than they already were. Romo did play very well, he was just kept off the field. It was pretty funny to see Brady throw it away immediately every time a defender was unaccounted for, even if he wasn't looking in that direction. Should they meet in the SB, which I think they will, I expect both D's to play much bettter. |

Excellent work. How exactly would you expect a good team to perform against the first five opponents the Patriots faced? |

Re: *****Clash of the Titans: NWE @ DAL (Week 6)*****
Also, I'm not entirely convinced the Pats HAVE the better offense, even now. The Cowboys put up 27 points on a team that's given up half that this season. But the Pats D is far better.
