Default ARod/Kerry Wood in my Econ Problem Set

[ QUOTE ]
In a World Series game, Kerry Wood is pitching and Alex Rodriguez is batting. The count on Rodriguez is 3 balls and 2 strikes. Woods has to decide whether to throw a fastball or a curve ball. Rodriguez has to decide whether to swing or not swing.

[/ QUOTE ]

The problem goes on to include payoff-matrices and what-not, but I thought SE could have fun with this problem. The prof. is somewhat into baseball(used Barry to illustrate monopoly/monopsony) so I'm going to go ahead and do this problem normally, and then include the best SE response as well.

Sporting Events GOGOGOGOGOGOOOOO.

I hope there's more information than that, men on, outs, inning, score, etc.

You should just put that the payoff is the value of a strikeout because it's Arod in the playoffs.

Kerry Wood's arm explodes, followed by an Arod choke popup, followed by Bartman stealing the ball. Infinite loop, no answer.

Is A-Rod's decision made before the pitch is even thrown?

which kerry wood is pitching: pre-op or post-op? he looks completely different, as if he was on roids before.

also, but since wood used to be a power-pitcher, his curveball must have sucked.
