At a hotel and need connection help

Strangely i can connect to Full Tilt, but i cannot connect to Absolute Poker. It gives me a firewall error from the AP client when i try to connect. Is there any way around this? The hotel does not seem to be blocking gambling as i also noticed i could not connect to a java based game either.
