Default Party 3/6...AKsuited with Top two under pressure at River.

Party $3\$6
Villian is MiamiVice79, a Solid TAG IMO.I have just seen him play QQ after 4 betting by checking every street when a King flopped. Other than that he hasnt been stepping out of line and to me I rate him good.

Stacks - I have $839 and villain covers.

Hero is UTG and dealt A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Hero raises to $24.Folded to Villain in Small blind who calls.

Flop K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Villain checks..Hero bets 42 (pot 54) and villain reraises to 120. Hero calls

Turn is the A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Villain \ hero check.

river is T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Villain bets $250 into pot of $300..

Hero ?

Solution later. Opinions very welcome.

is check on the leads me to beleive he doesn't have a great hand. I don't think many people go for the double check raise here. I call and feel decent about it. I think a lot of people are going to say you have AK snap call, but it is a pretty interesting post and there are players i can fold this vs

Thanks to everyone who replied...I folded and he mucked. Just curious as to the thoughts...My thinking was it was such a strong river bet that Im behind here lots. As it happens I reckon if I call here I and see QJ or 66 I shouldnt feel to bad about it...

MiamiVice is a short stacker who just pushes any pocket pair and AQo+ preflop.

Nah....When i played him he had a fullstack.

I think i call river, once you check turn you induce a copule of bluffs. Very few people go for a double check/raise, i don't think that QJ and 66, is that big a part of his range actually. I think that hands such as T9s and TJs are just as likely, but so are missed FDs!!! He could even be valuebetting something like AJ/AQ here, who decided to get tricky on flop. Im not sure, but i think i remember his RCB to be pretty high.
