Default Cap for value?

I assume that capping for value is something out of SSHE because that's the one primary book I haven't read yet. I'm just trying to get a read on how it's used. Maybe this isn't one of those times, but I want some opinions on what you would do in this situation. Some at the table have been loose but no maniacs:

Full Tilt Poker
Limit Holdem Ring game
Limit: $0.50/$1
8 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
UTG: $13
UTG+1: $30
Hero: $33.25
MP2: $7.50
CO: $20.50
Button: $17
SB: $22
BB: $10

Pre-flop: (8 players) Hero is MP1 with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
UTG calls, UTG+1 folds, Hero raises, MP2 3-bets, 2 folds, SB calls, BB calls, UTG calls, Hero calls....

That's right - calls. With three other callers to the raise by the player behind me, I was doubtful that my reraise would do anything other than flood the pot and create good drawing odds.

If it were heads-up or three-way, I would have capped. But should I have reraised here, with the possibility of five to a flop and improved drawing odds?

By the way, although the table is loose, it normally wasn't this loose.

I cap and pray to God that not only do all previous callers call but the folds unfold their hands and call. Yeah each call diminishes our chances of winning the hand but we more than make up for it with the extra money they're putting in while trying to play catch up.

It's all about pot equity: that's why we raised in the first place.

Edit: with this many liking their hands enough to call there may be a chance of some implicit collusion going on. After all, if two of them have 88 what are the odds of one of them spiking a set?

Even if I had had A's cracked a dozen times in a row, I cap here. It's the EV+ thing to do.

AA against 4 opponents will win ~55% of the time.

You're only putting in 20% of the money dude. Get as much in as possible.

Cap it, hit the A on the flop, keep betting all streets and take your winnings to go buy a copy of SSHE.
