Ending for Enchanted Arms sucked a bit, was expecting more depth to the story.

Bioshock's ending was pretty terrible.

Yeeea I was pretty pissed at this ending. I liked the general tone of it but it was so abrupt it felt very last minute and not thought out.

The one game I beat on my old 8 bit computer Gryzor known as Contra in the US had an ending that shocked and horrified me.
Upon beating the final boss I was greeted with a screen showing the earth from space with the words "congratulations you have defeated the evil aliens and saved the world" then suddenly the earth was ripped apart by explosions and left as a brown wasteland and the words changed to say "sadly the alien mother had fussed her self with the world and killing her caused its destruction".
I was kind of shell-shocked, you didn't beat 8 bit computer games no one expected you to so having beaten one I expected so sort of ticker tape parade in my honour or at lest a congratulations not the destruction of the world.

MGS - Great Ending
MGS2 - Horrible Ending
Every FF - Usually a 45 min movie at the end which left you thinking WTF??? Good thing the gameplay is usually good.
KOTOR 1&2 had bad endings, but the gameplay was so fun.

I seem to remember terrible endings more than good ones. I guess it's hard to end a game well...

I <3 KOTOR so much but the endings were total ass dog burgers.

In germs of game play, I really loathe the endings to Max Payne 1 & 2 and cheat through them.

Thankfully this isn't how it really ends in Contra. Which I'm surprised no one has nominated as one of the best.

I'm a little sad. I can't remember any good or bad endings to any of the games I've played I'm just staring at my collection to try and remember. I'd say Twisted Metal Black has some pretty good endings. Argh why can't I remember

Although I love the rest of the game, I'd tend to agree here. The final boss was not too tough and the ending scene was really stupid. At first I decided to rescue the little girls, but after a level or two I said F it and harvested them so I could get more ADAM quicker. My ending was the evil one like I suspected it would be, and it seemed like they were just trying to make you feel like you were an evil dbag. Didn't seem right to me.

MGS3 MGS3 MGS3 MGS3

Final Fantasy endings usually suck, but I liked 6 and 8.

I liked Starcraft's storyline before and during the game so I'll throw that in there. Red Alert's was pretty good too.

MGS had my favorite video game plot. BEST

MGS2 was the stupidest thing ever. When Jack and Rose hugged at the end, I had no clue what was going on. So was Rose a robot or a spy or a computer program or what? WORST

I play a lot of games with little or no plot, so that's all I've got...
