Re: I cant help not tilting at 10-100x my regular stakes
I don't agree with those who give advice like "poker is not for you and you should quit" or anything similar. Nonsense.
You can work on your brains dude. You can improve on anything if you put your mind into it. You must treat your brains like an extremely demanding muscle. Feed your head dude. Never give up. Learn to identify the feeling you get when you start to tilt and defend accordingly. Review your bankroll, make a long-term plan and stick to it. You can learn not to tilt. It's hard work but it's worth it. Good luck. |

[ QUOTE ]
Some people don't have the emotional stability to be successful poker players. Unfortunately you're one. Sorry dude. [/ QUOTE ] Sad, but true. You're focused on results, not on your play. |

Re: I cant help not tilting at 10-100x my regular stakes
Yeah, I just came back to online after a year absense. I had similar problems. I've already found myself sitting with 1500 (my own money) on a 10/20 NL table. The software has been deleted from my computer in less than two weeks. I was destined to lose a bunch of money if I kept the temptation around.
Even playing in a casino, I like to have a friend at my table to help keep me 'honest'. |
