Sunday afternoon in AC
Is The Borgata worth stopping by on Sunday afternoon at about 3:00 PM? I play low limit hold 'em. It adds about 1 1/2 hours to my trip.

Re: Sunday afternoon in AC
Of course it is worth it! Depending on what limit you play, there may be a wait. Many of the weekenders will be leaving, so the wait may not be as long as a Saturday night.

Re: Sunday afternoon in AC
It's worth it, but most of the donks have left already ~ that is unless it's a holiday weekend.
You shouldn't have too bad a wait if any at all. |

Re: Sunday afternoon in AC
Sunday is hit or miss for a good game packed with lots of touristas. Friday and Saturday is prime time. That's what I was told. That's what I experienced.

Re: Sunday afternoon in AC
I've sometimes had to wait 20-30 minutes for a 3/6 game. I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes for a 1/2 game.

Re: Sunday afternoon in AC
I play baby NL at the Borgata, but I think things loosen up in the afternoon on Sundays. I only get there 1-2 times per month, almost always on the weekend, and I get there early in the AM.
Never a wait before noon unless there is a big tourney going on. Sometimes there is a wait early afternoon, especially if there is a tourney going. Most I have ever waited is 20 minutes maybe. If I get there about 8:00 I can catch the drunks from the night before, as well as the guys down a bit trying to chase money and the people up a bunch willing to gamble. It seems to tighten up around lunch, and then after 2:00 or so people on their way out gamble off the last buy in for the weekend. Play solid and value bet the heck out of them. |

Thanks for the replies. It sounds like it's worth the detour.
