The woman is Wafa Sultan, an Arab-American psychologist from Los Angeles.

I would suggest watching it ASAP because I don't know how long the link will be active.

An articulate woman arguing on Al Jazeera about the problems with the Muslim faith and how they're incorrectly framing the debate as a clash of civilizations.

She makes a very strong pro West/anti-jihad muslim argument.

I'm refreshed to see this on AL-Jeezera. I've also seen them with programs debating if the Holocaust happened, so it really restores a little faith in them.

Jazeera is doing a tremendous job in opening up Arab culture. We expect Jazeera to always behave by the high standards of western media --AAA sorry! I choked--- but we forget that the channel is walking on and forming the path at the same time.

A lot of pro-war posters were angry at Jazeera for its "propaganda" during the recent invasion of Iraq and were calling for its bombing and total destruction. It's the same kind of "thinking" that informs the current War On Terror. Not very promising.

I would question where it was actually broadcast. They have multiple feeds and the audience for this one may have been severely limited. One clue is that this was a Qatar feed, so the audience was already predisposed toward more Western values.
