Drogba, that [censored] Robben, Carvalho (who is sick good, but he reminds me of the balding guy who wants to fight in the back of the bar), and Essien who is only hateable because he's awesome (and since you're a gunner, because of this) (should have been a rickroll, but isn't) As to Becks, I actually agree with the underrated tag. He was overrated for a time (though for a bit, when he was rated very highly, he was correctly rated, from about 1999-2001 he was ridiculous...) but as someone said, it became cool to hate on him.

I watched the game. 90% of the time Beckham touched the ball, he made a perfect pinpoint pass to a teamate in good position. The teammate then proceeds to turn the ball over, shoot wide, or generally just blow a good pass. It must be so frustrating to play with such relatively unskilled players. If the galaxy had a couple of guys that could actually finish, Beckham's skill would be much more obvious to the casual observer. He is so dominate with his passing ability.

God I hate soccer.
But every time it's brought up, I think of the Simpsons: "The Continental Soccer Association is coming to Springfield! It’s all here: fast-kicking, low scoring…and ties? You bet! This match will determine once and for all which nation is the greatest on earth: Mexico or Portugal!" Also, the difference between American soccer announcers and foreign announcers: Brockman (bored): Halfback passes to the center. Back to the wing. Back to the center. Center holds it. Holds it. Holds it…  Mexican Announcer (wetting his pants): HALFBACK PASSES TO CENTER!! BACK TO WING!! BACK TO CENTER!! HOLDS IT!! HOLDS IT!! HOLDS IT!!!

[/ QUOTE ] yes, this is what i was referring to. beckham the playmaker is just so sick to watch. he knows where everyone is and which one should get the ball. his ingame smarts are high level ish.
