Re: Street by street vs TerrorOfSweden, EPT Barcelona (Hand w/ masters
I like a c/c here. That flop is raggedy as hell. Very likely missed him all together. No draws except for a far inferior one. Let em hang himself.
I will not give you a line past flop though as the turn card will ultimately decide whether I continue with c/c'ng or I decide to lead (or even c/f ). I will say that the more nonthreatening the turn, the more likely I am to b/3b the turn. |

Re: Street by street vs TerrorOfSweden, EPT Barcelona (Hand w/ masters
I'd like it if Ansky could answer my question about the range he could be perceived to have when he raises UTG, with his image etc.
Short of folding, I don't think there's much wrong with any line against his range. If he thinks I'm bad/ABC, I think 3-betting will be the most profitable. |

Check/call the flop.
Edit: you are deep enough to play post-flop. Your hand is ahead of most his ranges on the flop, however, he's aggo, you check/raise him when you make your hand at the turn. |

I think I either b3b or c/c. I'm not sure which one is better though

Re: Street by street vs TerrorOfSweden, EPT Barcelona (Hand w/ masters
I think c/c can be a major problem because so often he endsup having a hand which is slightly better than ours, which would have folded to a flop c/r, or some other line.

im guessing you c/r, he calls and we hit a J on turn
or we lead and he just calls and the turn is a blank |

Re: Street by street vs TerrorOfSweden, EPT Barcelona (Hand w/ masters
Are you saying that on a K73 two tone board he may throw away a better hand to a c/r but PF he will ALWAYS call any reraise? Something don't sit well with that.
I see no problem with a b/3b line. It gains a bet when he folds and gets stacks in (if thats how it goes down) with a very live draw and maybe more. I would not be surprised if AJ high is good right now. My disdain for the c/r is that we each will be left with too much money in front of us if called. If stacks were deeper or shallower then I may like it more. A b/c line seems too spewy since the results are fairly similar to c/r'ng in respect to where we end up in regards to stack sizes though without the lead. Also, I feel we don't get payed off as often as we would on a c/r line since b/c would seem to polarize our hand a bit more. I ain't c/f'ng. I aint b/f'ng. A c/c line is definitely riskier but may infact be the most profitable. I do realize that this line is far and away easier to promote from the sidelines though. |

Re: Street by street vs TerrorOfSweden, EPT Barcelona (Hand w/ masters
Ansky,
Registrar already brought this up, but I think flop action depends on how he has been playing after the flop, which we have no information about. What is he likely to do if you lead bet? If you check? Many people are advocating attempting to get the chips in on the flop, and I have no problem with this. The question is how. To answer this we need some sense of how ToS has been playing post-flop. |

Re: Street by street vs TerrorOfSweden, EPT Barcelona (Hand w/ masters
I have missed a lot of the action so it's kind of hard to tell, but I would guess his cbet freq in this spot is pretty close to 100%.
