Anyone read strassa's SNG article in his blog? It goes completely against the STTF conventional wisdom.

I really don't want to sound like a dick at all...

but, what reason is there for everyone to have these poker blogs? I can understand some of the top players having blogs, because those are certainly worth reading. I can also see someone with some real character and ability to entertain writing a poker blog, because that's worth reading for other reasons.

Unfortunately, it seems like everyone else has the same boring mundain drivel. Oh nice, you're on a hot streak... oh, now you had a bad day? Holy crap, absolutely groundbreaking.

No offense to anyone in particular, but much like not everyone is cut out to be on TV, I don't think everyone really needs a run of the mill poker blog just like everyone elses.

I didn't post the link to my blog so that every 2+2'er would read it and be facinated with my results and accomlishments for the day. I actually have been doing it with the mindset that no one other than me would ever see what I had writen. I started doing it so that I could keep track of my daily results. Also, I find it useful to have records and notes that are easy to find and organized.

If you don't like reading the blogs of players that don't 8 table $100+ tournaments, then don't read them. I like reading about the poker results of other people, so I decided I would post my blog for people who like to do the same. I find that keeping a blog helps me play better, for whatever reason, and I recommend it to any serious poker player.
