Default General micro limit play vs flop insta min raise

Specifically, if you cbet the flop in position and find that your opponent check min raised you so fast your chips are still sliding to the center of the pot, how do you proceed.

Since this is a cbet and not a made hand, do we always fold? I'm seeing this often enough to make me now post.

I'm sure it matters what happened preflop and what your opponents stats are.

For me this is most common when I raise in LP with a decent hand if folded to and someone calls.

I think one time I had 99 and raised on the button. Only the BB called and the flop was Q-8-5 rainbow.

Other times I'm holding KQ in the same spot or similar.

Thoughts?

depends on the board texture, cards I hold, and any history. He does this more than twice and I'm 4-betting. If there are draws on the board, I'd consider repoping.

i give them credit for the first time. if it becomes a habit, then he's gonna get 3popped a lot. or you can just check behind and see how he plays the turn.

lately I read it to mean "I have one pair, TPNK or worse, did that flop actually hit you, thief?"

Then, if he can fold I bet.

If he can't fold, and I'm ahead, I'll bet or call, depending on how far ahead I am and whether I'm willing to pay for stacks.

If I'm way behind, but he can't fold, I fold.

If it falls into a gray area where he can't fold now, but might fold later, I have a outs and there are lots of scare cards, and stacks are deep... I call and keep playing poker.
