Default 2.25 FTP 88 in SB early, help me play this hand.

Full Tilt Poker
No Limit Holdem Tournament
Blinds: t15/t30
9 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
UTG: t1530
UTG+1: t1410
MP1: t1455
MP2: t1620
MP3: t1500
CO: t1425
Button: t1455
Hero: t1320
BB: t1785

Pre-flop: (9 players) Hero is SB with 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
3 folds, MP2 calls t30 <font color="aaaaaa">(pot was t45)</font>, 3 folds, Hero calls t15 <font color="aaaaaa">(pot was t75)</font>, BB checks.

Flop: 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (t90, 3 players)
<font color="#cc0000">Hero bets t90</font>, BB calls t90 <font color="aaaaaa">(pot was t180)</font>, MP2 calls t90 <font color="aaaaaa">(pot was t270)</font>.

The big bet here was a mistake, I really wanted to bet 2/3 of pot~265

Preflop is fine, flop too.
I prolly just c/c on the turn to keep the pot under control.
River is fine.

bet less on turn so you end up less commited to the hand then check/call small bet on the river, probably check/folding to a river PSB/shove.

Agreed, misclicked bet amount. I was upset when this happened.

I like betting the turn because it's a $2 and villain probably has some random flopped pair or random draw and we want to get some value out of the hand / stop him drawing cheaply. I don't see any reason to be so cautious/scared on this turn.

I like it (with the 270 bet on turn instead of the overbet), but c/c turn for pot control sounds good too. I think I like the bet better since he's less likely to bluff the river if you bet the turn.

Nah, I'm not scared, just want to keep some control.
Betting is also fine, but obv a bit less.
