The Office Season 4 Premiere 9/27

Thought it was pretty good. I tend to give a lot of leway for first episodes of a season though. They have to answer questions from previous seasons and set up story lines/themes for this seasons plus be entertaining. Typically they seem to have the same jokes as a 1/2 hour show, just fil the rest of the hour with answers and plot starts...

I agree that 42 minutes seems too long, I think the supersized episodes have been great though, length wise.

Solid episode though there were some slow patches, Michael naming animals being most notable imo. Also I find Kevin almost painfully unfunny.

Agree with the first. Disagree strongly with the second. I thought Kevin was really strong in this episode.

I hated the bloody nipples, and animal-heads part was pretty bad, but it was a pretty good episode overall. I can't believe no one has mentioned Ryan's "new look" yet, which I thought was the funniest part of the show.

haha, yeah, but I think that could have been even better, somehow. I can't quite decide what I wanted from the scene... maybe an even more encyclopedic knowledge of pills, or an offer to buy them, or even a suggestion, like "so, you're probably not gonna take all of those before you're well."

otoh Meredith definitely seems like she would enjoy her pills, so I don't think Creed would get anywhere on that front.

Good episode. Further solidified its standing as the best comedy on TV.

I think a lot of us already saw it in the season 4 previews, otherwise we would be talking about it. I really hope they make good use of Ryan this season.

I don't want to butcher the joke by horribly paraphrasing it, but I really liked the Jeopardy joke.
Overall it was a solid episode, but would have been better as a 30 or 45 minute episode.
