I got my money sent back to me after a wire transfer. A Western Union rep called me and said my money was rejected by the casino's bank. Is this an indication that the event is full?

Why don't you call them and ask them?

Okay, I talked to a service rep at the Rio, she told me since I wired the money too close to the start of the event, they rejected the wire transfer. Cashier checks are a no also, they're only accepting cash. I cannot arrive in Las Vegas earlier due to my work schedule, my plane's landing the night before, around 11PM.

New question: when, if ever, do the smaller events fill up? How soon before the start of an event can you register? Does it have to be 24 hours before, a week before, an hour before? Anyone who has done a close-to-the-wire registration before, can you share your experience? What did you have to do, where did you have to go, etc etc. Should I give up yet? Thanks.
