Default $1-2 Live Quads against HSNL Player

Soaring Eagle Casino Mt. Pleasant, MI

Blinds $1-2 $50-Min/100 Max

Hero ~$260
Villian (btn) ~$800-900
I have talked a little with btn. Says he has been playing for a few hours, usually plays the FT $50/100 NL game, as "sporto" or something like that. Says he sold his business and real estate a while ago now plays the tournament circut, cashed in 8 WSOP events last year. Seems to be very solid/good player. I have not played well, this was my first live NL game in a casino.

3 limpers to hero in CO w/T7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], hero calls, as does btn, blinds check.

Flop: 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img],7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img](Pot $12)

Checks to hero, bets $10, btn raises to $20, all fold to hero, calls.

Turn: 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img],7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (Pot $52)
Hero checks, Btn bets $25, hero calls.

River: 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img],7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (Pot $102)
Hero bets $90, btn calls.

Not sure if I maximized value. Comments on all streets.

D'oh.

I wasted it somewhere--I don't pay attention to such things.

What would people like to here me ramble about?

Regards,

Perhaps, I could discuss how to properly hijack a thread.

Ok, here is my thought process. Flop, I bet here with OESD, gut-shot w/over cards, 7, 6, over-pair, underpair. Villian's raise on flop seems to be, 6, 7 over-pair (he would limp 88, maybe 99 here). I may be beat, want to take one off, see what happens, thought about three betting, but did not want to stick it all-in on the flop if he pushes; is this weak? I now am almost sure he has a six after this turn bet. In retrospect, I leading the turn for $45-50 is best. River, I am almost sure he is checking a 6 behind but will call a bet. I guess I could have bet a little more, but my previous garbage river bets were is this range with weakish hands.

Yeah bet the turn, push the river. Zeebo's rule - nobody ever folds a boat. Well maybe he could if he were playing 50-100, but this is just play money for him. Wouldn't you call if this were a 2c/4c game?
