How can somebody call themselves a pro (Rousso) and not even finish in the money once for the entire tournament? Shouldn't just about anyone atleast find the money once given the amount of tourney she played?

You're right, no such thing as variance with the new WSOP structure. I know of no good player that had a bad WSOP this year...

How can anyone make a post and not realize that the WSOP isn't a tournament, it's a SERIES (hence world SERIES of poker) of tournaments.

I would imagine there are a number of decent players who played a lot of events and didn't cash. It really isn't that unlikely. Not that I'm saying anything about her skill level.
