Default Stars $30 FT: TT 5 handed

The final table of $30 freezeout. The table's been pretty tight and very responsive to preflop aggression.

He took quite a while to call preflop, but he insta minraised the flop. What should I do?

I shove but I'm not excited about it.

With 65,000 dead money in the pot I am too stubborn to let this one go.

I shove rather than call because I don't want to check the turn only to see it check through and give him 6 outs twice. Any bet on the turn is pot committing and a shove is only going to get called by a hand that beats you so this is a shove/fold situation.

If you have been really tight I might be more inclined to fold. If you have been really loose this is an easy call. If the villain has been really tight I am folding but if he has been LAGGY this is an instacall

Instaminraise... looks like a draw more than a set.

With a set he would look at your image for like 5 sec and than make a bet fitting to your image/playstyle.

I think I would shove here. Your holding only 90K behind if you lay it down. It would be a 50/50 shot I think. With some runner/runner outs for you i think your in front here slightly.

A good tight player wouldnt miniraise a flop like this without a draw.

Because when he is miniraising with a decent hand JJ/QQ/or Set... he can expect a push from any NFD/OESFD and he could be outdrawed. While we should take in mind that the pot is allready big enough to pick it up right now. So the miniraise would be a draw of somekind i would say.

So i think with a the information we have it is a 50/50 to call and with the short stack behind i would shove.

I've been definitely one of more aggressive players at the table doing a lot of steals, a few resteals, and flop cbets. I thought the insta minraise was either a set or slowplayed monster preflop. In hindsight dropping probably was better because I'm left with 90k or so, and I can just keep stealing because others were playing tight.

Anyway this is how it turned out:

Don't be results oriented.

He minraised a flop that is likely to miss a preflop raiser. If you have been aggro he could be making this play with anything that he called preflop with.

I don't like his line of playing KK here.

By min raising here you are really risking a CF with a NFD imo.
