Default 88 Flop Raise

UTG+1 is a 50/14/1 type.
SB is a 40/15/1.5 who likes to donk allthough I haven't really seen what he's showndown after a flop donk.

River felt strange. Flop raise OK?

In my mind the river's between bet/fold and check/fold and I much prefer the former.

I say bet. Get value from 77 and put pressure on 99.

Who is going to call with 77 or 99?

Who is going to bet with split fours or sixes?

I like c/f unless you think Villain will play a flopped split four or six this way and try to steal the pot on the river and thats rare.

I think you'll be bluff raised on that card sometimes. I also feel like people will sometimes bet on the end with worse pairs if you check. It seems close between every possible decision (bet/call, bet/fold, check/call, check/fold), but I'd want to showdown.

Almost everyone? The bluff aspect of this bet is nonexistant for me. I would never expect someone like that guy to fold 99. In my opinion it is much more likely that you get raised on the end by 99 than have it fold to your bet.

obviously it would be great to know if villain would bet light (ala 4, 5, 6, 77) or bluff when checked to. I think a check call would be viable if villain had these characteristics.

I think that typically it is going to be between a bet fold and a check fold. his flop cold call and turn call make me think there is a real case for a flush draw that got there. I am not ignor9ng the fact that he could have called with a lot of other stuff. I just think that it is very close between a bet/fold and a check/fold, and the action thus far swings it slightly to a check/fold.

do you think bet/call is okay simply b/c you might be bluffraised on this card? dont know for sure, but i think the other 3 are close, but clearly better than bet/call, unless villain has a tendency to bluffraise scare cards.
