[ QUOTE ] I need some feedback on how a friend is doing down there on my account, Schwallie. [/ QUOTE ] Prod- Be careful. The sites are starting to really crack down on account sharing. Some players have recently had their accounts permanently closed due to this. [/ QUOTE ] Still need some feedback if anyone has any. Pokerboy; ty, but I have never played on the account. He is the only one that plays it, it was just started before he was 18 under my name. I think we should be alright. Regardless it's not a life altering amount he has there yet so no big. I will be switching to his name soon enough |

Re: ** Official August Chat Thread: The White Swan **
[ QUOTE ]
Still trying to fix these PAHUD problems. This program is so buggy it's driving me crazy. I have had nothing but problems with it since the day I began using it. So I'm trying to change some settings (as recommended by support) while I'm 12-tabling and it hogs all my resources and freezes my computer. I'm in the middle of a huge multi-player pot and my hand gets folded. I would have won the pot but in essence I lose $200. I cannot wait until a more reliable product hits the market (there are several on the way). [/ QUOTE ] On a related note, my PokerTracker is on the fritz too. I just finished a session and there are a bunch of green numbers on the screen. |

Re: ** Official August Chat Thread: The White Swan **
Can anybody link to that FPP/VPP calculator that somebody came up with awhile back? I want to figure out if I could make Supernova by the end of the year and how much I'd need to play

Re: ** Official August Chat Thread: The White Swan **
Recently back after a long break - I had a breakthrough da yeseterday (+$100o at NL(1) and won 530 T$). Looking to keep the run going today.
I have 75K VPP to go to get my SN by the end of the year. My goal is 1000 per day on the days I play - I should make it playing 4 days a week. |

Re: ** Official August Chat Thread: The White Swan **
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] Hey guys, Quick ? My English teacher tells me that our final research paper is going to be on a controversial subject in our field of study. I am majoring in business and/or investing. How can I incorporate Poker into this? I was thinking Poker as a positive investment? I would love to somehow incorporate it into the business side but doubt I can. [/ QUOTE ] Economics: Poker as an investment - is playing poker any different to buying shares? The luck of the cards = systematic risk Business: Comparison between selling goods and selling bluffs/value bets. Essentially both are about understanding how the customer sees both you and themselves in the marketplace etc. Comparison beteen big name poker players and big name brands - is being loud better than being good? Comparison between poker players asking for help on 2p2 and business students asking for help - are they both just going to go off and do their own thing anyway? [/ QUOTE ] This is all the way back on like 248, but what an amazing post. Brilliant Lordy, plain [censored] brilliant. |
