Default 66 overpair

Another cute little situation. We have a maniac in the CO.

This is a good flop to drive out overcards with a bet from the blinds.

I check, intending to raise a bet by the CO.

Without a likely bettor in late position, I agree with leading out...you're probably not going to get many folds because of the nature of the flop, but when nearly the entire deck is a potential turn scare card, you can't afford to check it here & wait for a "safe" turn card to make your move. So bet for value & re-evaluate when/if you get raised (and again after the turn card falls).

Bet, you are likely ahead right now but your hand is exceedingly weak. Many likely missed this flop, see if you can fold a few out and see what comes back to you. If maniac raises you I call if anyone else raises, I want it to either be HU or with almost everyone else calling in order to continue. C/F turn UI.

I agree but I don't think you are driving out all 5 oppomemts. The pot is small and your reverse implied odds are horrrible.

I do like NIX's plan of checking and then rasing the field if maniac CO makes the first bet.

i vote check-and-see even if there's not a maniac in LP. you're laying the first villain 7:1, so he's correct to call with a variety of hands. a bet doesn't really protect our hand, so we check and hope to c/r.

with the maniac where he is, this is the world's easiest c/r.

What's your action if you check and it goes: MP bets, CO raises, ... Hero 3-bets or coldcalls (or folds)?
