Probably still hovering around the .500 mark, IMO, since the division will probably be super tough again this year. But anything can happen. [/ QUOTE ] Your crazy. If the Indians are around the 0.500 mark this year Wedge gets the axe (barring an injury bug). Their rotation is strong with depth, their D should be improved, their O should be about the same as last year (regression from Grady and Pronk, increase from the Dellucci platoon, Marte and first base and a better year from Peralta they may even have a better O this year). Their Penn is obviously the problem, but with Miller healthy and the Vets they signed they will be improved (the BP article has them as one of the worst in 40 years last year). They should be gunning for 90 sins and a little positive Var could put them at the best record in the AL. GO TRIBE!!!! |

Re: **OFFICIAL 2007 Cleveland Indians Thread**
rotation
Sabathia Lee Westbrook Byrd Sowers Bullpen Borowski Robeto Hernandez Fernando Cabrera - great last two months of 05 bad in 06 but talented Betancourt Lineup Sizemore Dellucci Martinez Hafner Trot Nixon Casey Blake Peralta Andy Marte Josh Barfield I think trading Westbrook or Byrd would be good for he team. But yeah the starting rotation looks great if Sowers can perform like he did late last year. I think Shapiro said he felt this team would be lock to win the Central if it were as weak as in the late 1990s early 2000s. Definitely a chance to win the division. Much much better than last year's record indicates. |

I was born on the east side and grew up on the west side so I guess that's how I ended up in New Mexico. KJS is from Lakewood I think so maybe he wanted to be by a different body of water. |
